Brief.
Description of Assignment |
The
firm will be responsible for - I. Feasibility study for construction of a
high-rise multistoried
commercial building at CTS compound, Tejgaon, II. Preparing master plan, designing
(structural &. layout), and internal decoration with all aided facilities
and parking. Specifically,
the firm will have the following responsibilities: 1)
Inspect proposed site, survey and assess the scope of work and do
a detail feasibility
study considering at
least (not limited to)
financial, economic, commercial, environmental & other aspects (if
necessary) to find cost effective maximum, floor space; 2)
Develop complete plan for
all utility facilities including sanitary & sewerage,
electrical & standby generator system, gas, telecommunication, lift, fire
fighting & security system & others (if necessary). The detail plan
should include at least (not limited) location and functional content of
every network of sewerage & water supply, electrical & power system,
telecommunication, security & disaster management system fire fighting
arrangement, escape way etc. during
disaster; and space for
expansion of other services
(as and when required); 3)
Making provisions for any other facilities as per government directives
issued time to time & for environmental obligations. 4)
Finalize the project design, documentation, specifications and cost estimates
(with cost analysis); 5)
Prepare detailed engineering design and project management system /different
types of installation works and monitoring & supervising of the
construction work of the building & its related works; 6)
Prepare document for presentation (including cost estimates and supported
cost analysis as
mentioned above for
the proposed construction work to get approvals, as and when required; 7)
Assist and advise BTCL authority on tendering, preparation of documents, evaluation of
tender documents, and engagement of contractors; 8)
To prepare detailed implementation schedules (to be updated time to time); 9)
To supervise and
monitor all civil
works as prescribed to ensure quality of materials,
quality of work, and timeliness; 10)To
develop and/or revise guidelines for proper maintenance of the constructions
made under this project |

Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required: |
1. The consulting firm must
have minimum I5 (fifteen) years experience
in consultancy service of similar nature. 2. Firm should have
experience of completing minimum 2(two) nos. of commercial building (minimum
10 storied) in respect of design & supervision work over the last ten
years. 3. Firm must have following technical personnel separately in each case as
enumerated below : a)
minimum 2(two) civil
engineers having post graduation degree with
at least 10(ten)
years of experience, 3(three) senior B.Sc Engineers having
10(ten) years of experience in consultancy/supervision job as
enumerated in serial 2 b)
minimum 5(five) B.sc
Engineers having 5(five) years of experience in similar type of consultancy/supervision
job and c) minimum 5 Diploma
Engineers having 5 years experience in
similar type of consultancy
job specially supervision work. 4. Firm must have ; a)
minimum 2(two) senior Architects having 12(twelve) years or
more experience in
similar type of consultancies and b)
minimum
2(two) Architects having
5(five) years of experience in similar type of
consultancy. 5. Firm must have their
own' office with much needed facilities like computers, plotter, printer
manned by qualified persons for smooth completion of aforesaid type of work. 6. Firm should
provide detail document
about their technical personnel
(experience, resources and
capacity) as a proof those
are in the
stream of consultancy/supervision
job of similar nature. 7.
If any firm have more experienced personnel and facilities mentioned above
will be given due cognizance. |
